Kairangi is what we call the tastemaker. Since the beginning of her journey, this wahine has been the ringatā everyone wants to emulate but can’t quite replicate. With a whakapapa boasting Ngāpuhi and Ngāi Tahu connections, it’s no wonder she has continued to elevate her craft to heights even the most seasoned ringatā are yet to reach.
