Te Rangihau (Dayo) is in a league of his own. Carrying the mantle as the mātāmua of the Toi whānau, Dayo continues to create riveting and classic pieces with each kaiwhiwhi he meets. A proud descendant of Hokianga and Pikiao, mahi toi literally runs in the ringa of this Toi’s DNA.
Still regarding himself as a newcomer to the moko world, his humble movements and progression makes him the perfect artist for those wanting to learn, explore and dive deeper into the art of moko, and in turn oneself.
